Public Service Announcement:
NEVER order from FTD.com anymore. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. THEY ARE NOT THE "SAME" COMPANY ANYMORE.
If you do a little googling you will find all kinds of customer complaints about their crappy service since they changed ownership/management, including ridiculous "service/handling" fees slapped on *after* they have charged your card, crappy product s(i.e., looks nothing like the picture) and failure to deliver on time as stated/"implied" by the website and phone recordings.
On Thursday I ordered a $49.99 arrangement for my mom (who lives in upstate NY), to be delivered on Saturday (for mother's day). They took my order for Saturday delivery.
AFTER they charge my card for the arrangement (with 49.99 showing as the total being charged) I get a new screen that shows an additional $32.99 service fee, for a total of over 72$. A customer service representative said this was b/c it was for Saturday delivery. HOWEVER, now my flowers are estimated to be delivered by FedEx on TUESDAY, MAY 13 (from CARLSBAD CALIFORNIA).
I am NEVER ordering from FTD again....hopefully other internet denizens will learn from my experience. |
